Understanding Decarboxylation

Decarboxylation is a critical process that activates certain chemical compounds within mushrooms, making them more bioavailable and effective for human use while decreasing the amount of Ibotenic Acid in the extract.

• Partial Decarbed: Ideal for those seeking a balanced profile of active and non-active compounds.
• Fully Decarbed: Best for maximizing the bioavailability of certain compounds, enhancing the extract’s potency.

The Power of Amanita Compounds

Amanita mushrooms contain a variety of compounds, each offering unique benefits:

• Muscimol: Known for its distinctive psychoactive properties, offering a unique avenue for research and product development.
• Ibotenic Acid: Present in partially decarbed extracts, it’s a precursor to muscimol with its own set of unique attributes.
• Antioxidants and Anti-inflammatory Agents: Amanitas are rich in compounds that support overall wellness and combat inflammation.
