Why 10mg, and why hemp-derived
Because dose is the only variable that matters in an edible, and 10mg is a number you can divide. Federal law defines hemp as cannabis with no more than 0.3% Delta 9 THC on a dry-weight basis, a definition set out in the USDA's domestic hemp production program rule that implements the 2018 Farm Bill. About the Lion's Mane half
Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a culinary mushroom with a genuinely interesting research base and a habit of being oversold. We include 15mg per gummy and describe it as a functional ingredient, not a cognitive enhancer. The best recent human trial — a double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover in healthy younger adults — found no significant overall effect on cognition or mood from an acute dose. That is the honest state of the evidence, and a 15mg inclusion is not going to change it.
What corners we do not cut
Every lot is tested for cannabinoid content, heavy metals and microbials, and the pack carries the lot number. This is not a formality in the edible category: the FDA has received hundreds of adverse event reports tied to unregulated THC edibles, and the agency's core complaint is variable formulation and labelling.
